It was weird, because i made eye contact with one of The 100 thank you for the memories signatures shirt, and went to speak but they turned away and began packing shelves. It really put me off. And literally not 5 seconds later a fancy looking Asian couple came into the store and was instantly greeted by 2 of the staff as I looked around. That’s what annoyed me. I felt so out of place, despite having shopped there before. the couple asked for help and were shown what they were after. It upset me a little. The whole situation is hard to explain, but I’m sure you ggt the idea. Could I have just sucked it up and asked one if the ladies? Yes. But the vibe wasnt there. I didnt want to spend a near to a store that clearly didnt value my presence.
They lost my business that day, and The 100 thank you for the memories signatures shirt. That’s a very boomer thing of me to do, but the way they ignored me when they clearly saw me, then coddled the couple behind me felt so forced, that I didnt really want to experience that feeling there again. I was sitting in a booth with the baby. My 7 year old was in the other seat facing me. The store was jam packed as usual. There were no open seats at the grill. I was listening to the chatter from my daughter and just scanning the area when my eyes landed on a single man in a booth facing me. He was wearing a t-shirt and running shorts. He was smiling at me oddly. Weirdo.
